What to Expect

Not sure where to start? Feel free to bring any pieces you are curious about and we will go over them together to decide what your best options are.

Once we have determined the items to be appraised, you may stay and watch the appraisal process (limit 3 hours per session) or I will provide a receipt and take a photo of the pieces you are leaving with me. My goal is to return them to you in a timely manner, but many pieces will require hours to analyze and research.

During the appraisal appointment, I will check all settings to make sure no stones are loose; if secure I will then thoroughly clean the piece to insure proper grading and identification. Next, I will take measurements and administer tests as necessary. Finally, I will type a professional report and email a PDF copy.
